Vice Mayor Sharief Created :The "Commissioner on a Mission" Program to address the issues in our community.

Vice-Mayor Sharief voted to approve the US Paralympics and the NACAC under 23 Track and field competition in the city of Miramar these events created a new revenue stream, supported the diverse culture in the city of Miramar and created revenue for all surrounding cities by selling out all the hotels and increasing patronage to restaurants, malls, and small businesses.
